Need some advice. Please help!JamesHezron 09-27-2011, 08:49 PM I do have a car but don't know much of it. So, I planned to go back to school and study Automotive. Do you have any thoughts? Archetype123 09-27-2011, 09:02 PM I think you made a wrong turn at Albuquerque. 935k3 09-27-2011, 09:07 PM AHHH! What's up Doc? JamesHezron 09-27-2011, 09:11 PM It's not that I really don't know about my car. But I wanna learn Automotive. I mean, I wanna go back to school. :) I just need some help. Any thoughts? GTmike400 09-27-2011, 09:18 PM It's not that I really don't know about my car. But I wanna learn Automotive. I mean, I wanna go back to school. :) I just need some help. Any thoughts? I believe you are in the wrong forum, mate. This part of the forum is for building scale models of cars. What forum would you like me to move this thread to so you can get some appropriate advice? Cheers. JamesHezron 09-27-2011, 09:26 PM Isn't it part of Automotive? Is there any school that offers building scale models of cars? stuboyle 09-27-2011, 09:55 PM Isn't it part of Automotive? Is there any school that offers building scale models of cars? None that I am aware of. Are you a native English speaker? JamesHezron 09-27-2011, 09:58 PM Yeah! But I'm not that good with cars. I got 15 credits of my college and never graduated. And I'm looking forward to go back to school. :( 360spider 09-27-2011, 10:11 PM Where is Cebu? Just wondering. JamesHezron 09-27-2011, 10:19 PM That's somewhere at Long Island, NY. stuboyle 09-28-2011, 02:24 AM Like they said, this is the wrong forum for this. If you want to study to be an auto mechanic there are a number of technical schools such as United Technical Institute. If you want to study automotive engineering or design at a university, then I would start by searching on Google. tonioseven 09-28-2011, 01:12 PM Where is Cebu? Just wondering. It's a province in the Philippines. stuboyle 09-28-2011, 01:35 PM It's a province in the Philippines. Yes, I Googled that myself. Maybe he is in New York but from "Philly" ;) His userid looks like an American name though. blubaja 09-29-2011, 03:26 PM We should all pool together and somehow teach everyone how to build models! Oh wait...there's a thread about that, kind of..But to get paid for it!!! If you think you're not good at working on cars, do you really want to go to a school and learn how? Or are you looking for more of an artistic design element, of working on cars? Like going to an art school, specifically? Or more mechanically? I went to school for automotive-autobody, but went to work for an autoglass place, right from there. As I've heard, the local county technical schools would have been cheaper, and probably better than where I went. I am trying to get out of this line of work. There are many jobs, ofter for car repair. But be ready to deal with irate, unappreciative customers, always trying to scam or cheapen their bill. Or completely opposite naive lol. Good luck in whatever you choose! Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
