I'm keen on one of these (and the upcoming 308 Gr4), but I'm used to paypal-ing, and you can't do that to Russia apparently... I know Roman doesn't take PayPal, and I'm curious to know what costs etc are associated with a bank draft/ Western Union etc.... Thanks David rallymaster 10-06-2011, 05:25 AM How did you pay ?? Thanks David Hi David, I received my package a few days ago too, still haven't found time to post feedback. I may propose a complete review but am too busy for the moment to do it. This TK simply is fantastic ! I ordered two kits, paid with bank transfer (costing me a 27 euros fee) and Western Union for such amount would have costed 25 euros. Wanted to try bank to see how efficient and fast it is compared to Western Union which is instantly available. As already said, anyone thinking to get this model simply hasn't to hesitate and has to order one !! It's high standard transkit and resin casting. darkknightlives 10-06-2011, 07:00 PM How did you pay ?? Thanks David in the US it was simple, I called Western Unions 800 phone number gave them the amount and Romans name and city, they gave me a number, I went to my local Western Union office 2 blocks away in a grocery store, I gave them that number and handed them the money, they then gave me another number which I emailed to him and it was done, it cost me $18 US if I remember correctly, Fangi0 10-06-2011, 08:10 PM Thanks RallyMaster and Darkknightlives.... I'll look into Western Union.... As you both say, this is too good to pass up.... Regards David TeamHobby 10-07-2011, 03:11 AM in the US it was simple, I called Western Unions 800 phone number gave them the amount and Romans name and city, they gave me a number, I went to my local Western Union office 2 blocks away in a grocery store, I gave them that number and handed them the money, they then gave me another number which I emailed to him and it was done, it cost me $18 US if I remember correctly, Yup, i tried a few times at my local bank, but they have difficulty sending the money to Russia...Western Union seems like the most easiest way...but i will try again thru bank, caz the fees at WU is not cheap:banghead: BTW, i'm waiting for my kits to arrive... ScaleCentral 10-09-2011, 12:03 PM I did mine online at westernunion.com. He can pick it up anywhere in Russia as they are not required to be as specific on a location as you are here in the US. Best part, is I did a 3 day bank transfer and it only cost me $10. I would have spent more on getting an international money order and sending it airmail with registration. Mine should hopefully be here this week. It will go great with the Porsche 961 from LeMans, and hopefully he will do more rally Porsches. Nic Romik505 10-13-2011, 04:18 AM Hi guys. Yesterday, PayPal began working for the reception of payment in Russia. But getting the cash is possible only through a U.S. bank account.:frown: Maybe after a while PayPal will work fully. ScaleCentral 10-14-2011, 03:35 PM I got mine this morning. Absolutely fantastic! I'm so glad I was able to get one. This has to be one of the best transkits for a Porsche I have ever seen. But getting the cash is possible only through a U.S. bank account.:frown: Maybe after a while PayPal will work fully. Great! Souplaman 12-05-2011, 09:42 AM The kit arrived to my hands the previews week, but due to my busy schedule, I didn’t make it to post earlier…(my apologies Roman) I have the copy number 046, as shown in the box, which is very practical, well designed and protects the parts completely. http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/3852/001xj.jpg As you open the box, you see that the parts are extremely well packed and safely travelled from Russia. The resin body is fantastically shaped with no mold lines. The panel lines and the detailing are well represented and the body fits with the chassis like a glove. The chassis, is very well casted and straight, with very nice detailing. The same goes for all the other small parts, which are extremely well casted. Just a very thin resin flash here and there, but nothing to make your life hard. http://img412.imageshack.us/img412/1999/008rwt.jpg http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/8923/002rpp.jpg http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/4024/003lsv.jpg http://img853.imageshack.us/img853/4342/004rce.jpg http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/2466/005mq.jpg http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/6775/006ceq.jpg http://img585.imageshack.us/img585/8756/007oco.jpg The tires are from soft vinyl, with almost any flash, and the very nice and extensive detailing make them look real. http://img690.imageshack.us/img690/2693/010sis.jpg The p.e. set gives a load of parts and fuels the detailing factor to another level. http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8986/011ittg.jpg http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/5853/012we.jpg The instructions, are very detailed and very well represented, helping you to have a nice and smooth build, without blind and grey areas. The decals are very crisp and the colors are very vivid. http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/9968/013oqo.jpg http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/308/014br.jpg That’s all for now! To conclude, I believe is must have transkit that worth every penny! Roman did an awesome job, and I would definitely buy another kit from him. Thank Roman! And thank you for your time!
