great now I have a large evap leakchevyn0va1 09-23-2011, 12:22 PM I thought I fixed my small evap leak (fixing 5/16 hoses around the air cleaner) then after about 50 miles my check engine light came on. Now I have a large EVAP leak now what do I check I'm pretty sure I looked over every evap line other then dropping the tank. I thought I read the Canister Purge Valve Solenoid is sometimes to blame how do I test this? I have had the check light off for over 200 miles and when the tank got low under 1/4 at first start the light come back on. Why? ricebike 09-24-2011, 01:03 AM how about the gas cap? b1lk1 09-26-2011, 08:35 AM Testing any of the EVAP valves requires a two way scan tool. Better off sending it to someone with a smoke machine and a good two way scan tool, they'll find it fast if they are any good. stlrj 10-23-2011, 09:15 PM Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
