Where to buy turned aluminum intake stacksHemi Killer 09-18-2011, 07:37 PM I am going to start a Fujimi 427 Cobra. I would like to use the Weber carbs but the kit has no velocity stacks provided. I know there are many out there, I am having a hard time finding the right ones I am looking for some 1/24 stacks like this http://www.google.com/imgres?q=427+cobra+with+weber+carbs&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-Address&rlz=1I7ACGW_enUS354US354&tbm=isch&tbnid=pPdCQIkKNwJZvM:&imgrefurl=http://tffn.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php%3Ff%3D12%26t%3D4483&docid=HNKuzjFGro4s1M&w=490&h=382&ei=fYp2TvbuH-_KiAKbx_iyAg&zoom=1&biw=1143&bih=538&iact=rc&dur=187&page=15&tbnh=140&tbnw=180&start=132&ndsp=10&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:132&tx=65&ty=79 MPWR 09-18-2011, 08:34 PM The best option I've ever seen for velocity stacks was posted by Klutz_100 a couple of years back. He discovered that Bootlace Ferrules in the proper size are perfect for the application. They look like this- http://www.rapidonline.com/catalogueimages/module/M072043P01WL.jpg And installed look like this- http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y247/klutz100/WIPs/S7%20The%20Prisoner/engine_01a.jpg See this thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=680549).
