Seatbelt Material ...how do you glue them ?

OK I got some nice looking seatbelt material on ebay last week... looks good..I was having a hard time finding some good stuff...anywho...

Once it is in the buckle how do I glue it to stay...I have tried emlers and Model glue from testors..... super glue maybe ?

The meteril is kind of like ribbon but thicker...

There are few solutions, if you use super glue it could easily come through and make stains on the front side, so you should be carefull and put glue behind buckle or shoulder straps. Other solution is two sided sticky tape (you have it in any supermarket) just be sure to take that thin one.

I use microscale kristal clear. Works very good and no glue marks. What kind of material did you buy. Do you have a link.

I usually use super glue, but krystal klear is also good. Usually a small drop on the back side and then i fold over the belt onto the glue.

All that is, is ribbon. Look for ribbon at your local craft store or online.
I bought more ribbon than I will use in my life time for less than 10 bucks.
I think the size you need for 1/24 is 2mm.

I've used double-sided tape to fix the seatbelts in the Peugeot 307 WRC (which can find on this forum or on my site).
It works a dream. No fiddling or messing with glue or waiting until the glue has set.

I used this particular tape:

It's used in the automotive industry and is really strong and super thin. Great stuff.
