It is incredible how long do they survive around the world. There is a nice article in an italian magazine where they say very soon all the factory will be converted with renault/dacia new cars.Pictures of the factory are incredible. The place is too big really.

..and too nice to see Roman at work on it.

Waow !! :yikes: :eek7: :naughty:
Very interesting even if I firstly wasn't totaly convinced by relevance of such a transkit for such a car, it will be a nice addition to an Evo7 build and I think I'll have to get one though !! :grinyes: :grinyes:
Will you completely detail the engine bay and put all the stuff needed to in the Transkit or is it "only" basically the engine block and turbo/intercooler stuff ? Now that I see that I already dream of a completely detailed Evo7 engine bay on my 2002 German rally build.

Wow, mark me down for one of the evo engines! That would be really cool. The other thing that would be nice for a full detail build would be some of the detail for an open trunk. I haven't seen pics of the Evo's open trunk but I imagine there would be a few things to add that wouldn't be too hard for you to add to it... ;)

:agree:

But I would do it as a separate package so the
Customer could decide between one or the other.
Will defenitly buy at least two sets of the engine.
Would be nice to have parts to make rally engine
Or optional parts for tuned street evo.

Glad to see you adding new products romik, I wish
You luck!

True, MM. I would just like to see him do parts for the trunk at all. That would be cool.

So, I would be at least one that would hope for trunk details as well as the WRC-tuned Evo engine, not the street one...

Sincerely, but I'm only speaking for me, totally useless !!
You have the good spot with rally cars, especially if interesting to some forgotten cars or versions or if updating some existing cars into new versions.
SUV cars are to me the typical subject to be let to plastic brands and diecast !! because that's what they they will be among, whereas your rally kits or transkits won't be compared to anything else existing.

they are so much cars we still need to find, Group B, Group 4, or even Group A...
rally is abandonned by plastic brands, don't let us fall too !! :crying:

rallymaster, there are 3 of us, and we work on our projects distributed. Rally topic is developed by Romik505 and Motometalix, so everything is fine there :)

I have an offer from pickup-fans who want to have scale models of their most iconic trucks. I suppose simultaneous production of rally cars and trucks doesn't harm anybody.

You wanted opinion I gave mine which can only be a rally fan one. :eek7:
You may have waited for confirmation or acceptation of the idea but I can only give my sincere thoughts as it doesn't seem your question was only for truck fans but for eventual customers.
and as eventual (and already) customer I have to say that I prefer rally kits and transkits.

Moreover nobody can know how you work and develop projects as long as you haven't explained it. :evillol:
So knowing several projects can be lead at the same time, it's only your choice and I'm not sure you require approvement if most of answering people used to your items are like me rally fans :sly: (who will ask for rally !!)...

Firun,

For sure this model is very original, but what about the market ?
How much for a full kit, 120-140 Euro ?...Perhaps more ?
The question is : How many modelers are ready to put this money for a Ford Pick-up ?
If you spend lot of time and money to make this model to sell only 10, is it really a good idea ? I think no, especially for your wallet.

Just my 2 cents

Cool idea, but trucks have turned so ugly. The raptor is the one of few newer trucks i like.
Although venturing out into other forms of race or transport will only benifit your company IMO.

The engine is awesome. Need to save now!!

Dexter Models, thanks for your opinion! You are absolutely right about market and supply-and-demand correlation. That's the reason I'm asking if there would be at least 10 buyers for the kit excluding me, and as I see this topic isn't very popular, although the pick-up trucks are one of the most popular vehicles in US.

First of all, it is all about the relation of a model with the modeler's mind. For some of us, the rally models have the highest value-while we build them they bring us emotions and thoughts about the great drivers behind the wheel of those monsters with 500 hp and more.., driven on the heavy and super fast special stages leaving a cloud of dust in the noses of the overexcited fans, unforgettable sound of powerful engines and a "fast" red beam of the tail lights mixed with pure emotion behind them.....

for some others this is probably some drift car with a smell of hot melting tires and insanely oversteering back....

or it could be an "out of space" prototype, seen on pages of the newspaper or a magazine, or even seen for the first time at the most famous Motorshow....and so on and so on...

but those people are all dependent of something expereienced or seen, that left strong memories in the mind, i.e. they all bring a smaller or bigger, but always very bright piece of passion and emotion which remains in the modeler's mind, sometimes forever....

After all, probably for the business the question is whether someone would buy a "cool car" and not would he buy a model and build it putting some emotion into..

So, it is up to you to decide..

Regards,
Vitan Kasnakov

Dear customers, thanks for your overwhelming interest in our products!
We have written about PayPal support recently, but due to high interest and large amount of payments accepted via PayPal we have stumbled on PayPal limitations on accepting money for not-U.S. residents.
We would highly recommend to purchase our products via bank transfers or other supported payment options, because PayPal has some limitations for us for several further months.
Thanks for your understanding!

Firun,

The choice of a model to do is not easy and there's always a risk.
If you have a doubt about a subject, you still can make a survey on your website.

Second option, produce a kit through a subscription.
I made this some years ago for a 1/18 decal project.
I was not sure to sell all decals, so I asked to customer interested to subscribe.
At this time, I needed at least 30 customers to launch the project.
They sent me their payment and I produced the decals.

Inconvenience : Customers must to be in complete confidence to send a payment and wait several month to get their kit.

If anyone has good references of the real car and engine it will be nice to share it somewhere and collect everyone's references on a same place as we might be a few to have this one to build.

Celica PE + Evo7 engine Transkit.

Wow wow wow !! :runaround: :naughty: :naughty:

The engine transkit is perfect !! perfect cast, excellent building instructions, great details... Perfect I say !

And the PE set is perfect aswell !! So many parts I even think I may not use them all !
The building instructions is clear and complete, I just only regret there isn't a reference pic or two of the real car, especially concerning the special MonteCarlo fuel tnak, as I never noticed it so different...
With the transkit you can build either the Monte Carlo or the Safari version.
I have three sets and also intend to build 92 MonteCarlo Sainz's car with the transkit, most of the parts being common two both years.

Sincerely, if you are a rally models builder, these transkit really worse the price asked for them compared to what market offer in general knowing there simply isn't any other choice for an Evo7 engine or a Celica PE set allowing to build any version of the Celica with the same transkit.
A must have !

Hi Cris,

if it's on the post office it should have passed with success the custom step...?! I hope so, would be a pain to pay tax...

You may enjoy the transkit too, the resin cast is perfect and the resin itself is great, soft (elastic) but strong !! and very clean, no bubbles...

It can be more sincere, you caught all the details, and even put more details I could expect. Not sure I will add thel all myself

Uhh not sure we well understood each other...
In fact I think you are right for MC version with the PE, but tamiya is right for Safari...

Tamiya released the 92 safari version before the 93 MonteCarlo version that's why the MC kit has the safari fuel tank, they didn't correct it...
It's what I think...

The hasegawa kit I have is the safari one so can't say more for hasegawa.

I knew there were differences before both fuel tanks configurations (safari fuel tanks are usually bigger), but didn't notice they were so different.

Most of kit brands 1/43 or 1/24 seem to have made the mistake to copy the safari fuel tank...!

I really think you're right for the MC fuel tank, we have to use the PE for this version.

Problem is that I can't find pics from the MC fuel tank, all I find is from the 95 GT-Four (st205), I suppose you had some good ones to make the PE set, would you share them ?
maybe a references gallery on your website would be great. :2cents: suggestion
