Driver's Side Mirror

The driver's side mirror is "sticking" when changing its position. How do I lubricate the rollers or mechanism that rotates? Can the glass be removed giving me access to the mechanism behind the mirror glass? How?

I've had a few Ford mirrors apart, but never one from an LS. Typically the mirror "glass" can be unsnapped from the motor assembly without breaking anything, but you may want to consider starting with a can of silicone spray lubricant with a straw first, that's lower risk.
