I`ve had my 1996 Trans Am for 6 years. Parked it on my drive way until time and money allowed it to be fixed. Got it fixed. Went to drive it at night, flippped the head light swith and head lights didn`t pop up. They worked before opti went out. Replaced head light switch with one that I knew worked. Checked fuse. That was fine. I can twist the knob on the top of the head light motor and they come up. High beams and fogs work. Did what I knew to check. Funny thing next. Wipers would turn on by them selves. Now I`m thinking they are related. So I took it to a highly recommended specialty electric shop. They diagnosed the head light problem as a missing head light computer. The car hasn`t left my drive way in 3 years. Wiper problem was diagnosed as faulty wiper motor. So both seperate problems. I`ve never heard of a head light computer. I trust this shop. They fixed a car for my wife and I before and the business I work for has sent alot of stuff there also. Any thoughts?

JJ, check the posted date...besides, think both gears went at the same time? The shop said it was the headlight computer....think they meant the headlight module....
