Which do you think will be the best in:
A)Auto Cross
B)1/4 mile
C)Looks
Between: Dodge Viper, Ford GT, Farrari F360, Lamborgini Mercialago
No mods

Please bring up other cars that you think would fit in this group between
80000 and 300000 dolars.

 speechless

sorry SV, but at least know how to spell Ferrari, or Lamborghini

as for your comparison, if you really must know, i'd take the Murcielago, followed by the Modena.

I would take the Ford GT because it has the best looks and it is the second fastest to the Lambo.:sun:

the murcielago would do best but I'd also think about a Porsche GT2. 0-60 and 1/4 mile it's just as fast as the murcielago and it might even handle a little bit better.

i wouldn't doubt that for a second. the Murceilago is a whale compared to the GT2. the Porsche definitely handles better than the Lamborghini.

Which Ford GT? GT40? GT90? GT Mustang?

LOL

Anyways...I'd choose for a track...the 360 Modena (see the 2nd Annual USCC) and then the Viper (see the 3rd Annual USCC)

For the quarter mile and all over use (ie street and highway racing), Lamborghini Murciélago

My main flaw w/this thread is that nobody knows performance numbers on the Ford GT yet.

I read that it is listed at 500 hp/500 torque from a 5.4 liter engine. It is <3000 pounds because it is built using aluminum space frame technology. Some of the best engineers in recent history are building it: Steve Saleen(S7), Rouch(Rouch 380R), Carrol Shelby(Shelby Cobra), and John Colleti(SVT). It will cost $140000 and the first few will be on the streets sometime this month.:)

Aaahhhhhh....the weekly Ferrari vs. Lamborghini vs. Viper vs. Ford GT discussion.  Please people don't post stupid shit that has already been posted 8 million times. You don't need our approval to like a Ferrari or Lambo, etc. Just check down a few pages, I'm sure there are comparos between these cars.

I haven't seen this comparo yet, and if you don't like a thread don't spam in it with a useless post like yours.

As for my opinion, I'm with NISSANSPDR on this one.

According to a recent edition of Motor Trend magazine, the Dodge Viper came to a complete stop from 60 miles per hour in a mere 97 feet. That's the first time they've ever had a car perform that test in less than 100 feet. Who says American cars are poor performers? :)

I have to admit ive never heard anything about Vipers’ braking prowess. 911's are widely acknowledged to have the best brakes in the business, though im not familiar with the particular Viper model used in this comparo

yeah but that is against the old model viper the new one is superior to the old on in everyway.....IMO would not underestimate the viper...i used too...i thought of it as an unrefined 1/4 american car....but i was wrong its an amazing track car(if you can controll it that is)

however since i'm a ferrari fanatic i'll still take the 360:D

That was a comparison using the old Viper. The new Viper outperforms the old in pretty much every way.
