I bought this van for my wife a few weeks ago.when i boughtit the a/c belt was missing.I put a new one on and the a/c worked with no noise and nice and cold.3 days later it broke.I put another one on and 8 days later it broke.I don't know why it works fine for that long and then suddenly it breaks.I'm thinking the high preassure switch is not turning the clutch off.

Do the fans operate when the AC is on? It does not have a high pressure cut out switch. It has a pressure transducer. This link will explain the voltage ouputs of the tranducer.http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=909708
