98 buick lesabre tran leak

i have trans. fluid leaking through the seal of passenger side drive shaft does anyone know how hard it is to do without a hoist and how hard do you have to force shaft to come out of trany and the proper way to re. and re. the seal. what would be a reasonable price for mechanic to do it. any info would be appriciated thanx

alot easier on a lift(so your standing vs lying on ground)but not to bad.
if your familure with removal, poping axle from trans with 2 pry bars keeping joint center will usually come out with limited force.
we got 1 1/2 - 2 hrs labor plus parts so 150.00 seems fair the seals are
about 10.00
