I have recenty bought this van at a dealership in February of this year. Nothing wrong for a while and now the check engine light came on. Got it hooked up to the diagnostics machine at Advanced Auto Parts. they said it was the EGR Sensor. They told me to put a fuel treatment in with the gas half full. That the flap could be stuck from the ethonel in gas. Anyways I did that and the light is still showing up. Took it to another place and they told me I needed to get this fixed or it can really affect the performance of the vehicle, gas milage, and start affecting everything else as well.
Please if anybody could help me get started in the right direction. First on where is the EGR Valve at on my van. V6 engine 3.3 liter. And is it easy to replace. And if I replace it will the light go away and solve the problem.

Normally there are performance issues when the EGR starts going out but it is a common problem for them. Post the code.
