92 S-10 4.3 blazer will start and run like a champ. after about 10-15 mins if you are trying to accelerate either from a stop or trying to increase speed will start missing..

I have checked the timing and reset to 0 with tan/black wire in floor board of passenger side disconnected like the manual says to do. shut off and let sit for a couple min and reconnect wire.

When it starts the missing and on the road, my helper can reach down and pop the connector apart, the check engine light comes on, he put the connector back together and it runs somewhat smoother for the duration.

took to my mech and he was not sure why it was doing this.. said something about loosing timing signal to dist and suspected computer.

I was thinking some kind of sensor that was affected after engine temps got warmed up as it runs fine at first start up until about 10 to 15 mins of run time.

I replaced coil thinking it was breaking down.. not problem.

any suggestions..
