Who else is going to Goodwood's Festival of Speed this year?

It would be good if there are a few people all going on the same day(s) to have a mini AF-F1 meet up, put some names to opids etc etc. Le Man, Roger_ph and I did this last year and it was great; a beer in the infield and a wander around the cars :evillol:

Also, we have a possibility of potentially 3 F1's being there - #27R on display and hopefully #13R [depending on an arrival :moppie:] and #16R [depending on the speed of the Mclaren workshop], so the potential for great photo's is there :)

Yes, you get your hand stamped on the way out [you have to ask as they may think you are just leaving not to come back]

I go back and forth alot for food, change of clothes [if it rains], more sun cream [hopefully!....] etc etc etc

It's a good year for both japaneese endurance icons. what a souvenir to see 787B driving in the streets of Le Mans !

Those who are going Goodwood this weekend; take a good pics from there! I really can not wait to see them and hope the weather is good!

If just someone remembers; if there is some an Italian classics like Lamborghini's around, would you be so kind and took some images of them? Also rare Masareati's are welcome to see.!
And of course; F1's.!

- Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster
- Lamborghini Espada S3
- 2 Pantera GT5's
- Porsche Carrera GT
- Ferrari 575M Super America and lots of others also
- Lots of Porsches and Jaguar E-Types
- Lost of everything else les rare stuff.
- NO F1's........... :(

I have a feeling we may have crossed shots once or twice over the years at the FoS - I met up with Al one year and he mentioned you were there, but never saw you and when you posted your pics up they were like mine, and I remember someone with a decent camera getting all the shots and angles going [just like myself] :evillol:

Its located in the Drivers Enclosure, and as such you need to be a driver at the FoS to get access, so pics are [strictly!] from outside that area, hence the non-close up shots. Its bloody gorgeous! This makes me think that when [and it is when, not if! :)] I get one, it'll be black with a red stripe [a real one, not just a reflection of a red Porsche 959]

Awesome!!! Seeing #27R like that again definitely brings back great memories. :cool:

I always felt there was a bit of injustice that it had been forced to live on with the shades of it's British GT livery given the sour history associated with that. So glad to see it has been resurrected in it's original glory now. :thumbsup:

Not only is it absolutely one of my favourite liveries (for some reason I do love an F1 in yellow) but I feel a slight sense of joy that I helped uncover some news about it being reunited with it's Parabolica livery originally.

It looks stunning.

Hopefully we'll see it at Modena trackdays or BRDC days or something like #22R

This has changed for this year - you keep hold of your ticket! WHATEVER YOU DO DONT LOSE IT! They scan it in and then rip off the bottom part, but if you want to get back out and in again they scan you out and scan you back in as well as checking you have the ticket on the way back in

Agreed - but as the car will not likely be seeing such high speeds perhaps a bit more control is in order?

One thing I noticed about the livery is that the blue on the roof sections of the doors should extend out further and line up with the inner edge of the A-pillars so that your eyes see it as one clean and continuous arc.

Also, I take issue with the "027" embroidered into the car cover, but it's a bit of semantics I guess.

Disappointed to not make it again this year, especially with the two F1s in attendance as well as all the other lovely motors.

Yes that's true the blue part of the top doors is not exactly "in line" with the windscreen.
Also, we can see that the indicator are back in the good position with the orange part in the going to the middle of the car.
The rear windows doesn't have holes...and the rear part (just under the wing) show thow aeration holes in Donington who are closed now.


Someone knows the new owner? UK? Did he planned to run the car somewhere else?

It was hard to get any other angle shots of #069 due to its placing, but....
