My wife just travelled 700 miles with my small kids to visit me at my work location. She was here for 30 minutes and needed to move the Yukon out of the say. When she got in it to move, it wouldn't start, it would turn over just fine, but would not hit a lick.
There has never been any issues in its history and only has 44,000 miles on it.
Can anyone give me some direction as to what I can check and / or replace to get it back on the road?
Thank you for any feedback or advise.
Richard

pull a wire of and ground it to the moter a see if your getting spark from the coil pack if no spark no run and it should be blue spark and i would pull the easyest plug you can get to and if wet sounds like no spark coil packs will just go at any time. one more thing have you changed gas filter latley? but yes first i'd pull a plug out and see if it's wet do the spark test
also have fuel pump tested for pressure.
good luck..........

Thanks for the reply,
I actually shot just a touch of starting fluid to it and it ran long enough to burn the starting fluid off, then quit.
Is there an easy way to check the pump pressure without hauling it to a shop and where is the fuel filter typically located on the Yukon?
Thanks again

No " easy" way, you need to get a fuel pressure gage on the test port and look for 65 psi.

fuel pressure low, what is the next step to zoning in on the fix?
where might I find the fuel filter?
Thanks

you can get filter at autozone or advanced but sounds fuel pump but i'd go for gas filter first.
