I have a question for a family member; '99 GMC Jimmy rear view mirror lights in need of wiring. Its been cut, but it looks like there is a brown with white tracer and a black wire. I've hooked them both up to a battery and have light on both but can't tell if I have them backwards or if that matters. Can someone tell me what the brown with tracer and black wires mean?
