95 Caravan

Hi all first post.

I have a 95 Caravan with a 3.0 engine. Can anyone tell me if the cam belt brakes, do the valves on this engine have clearance, or is it a good bet that the pistons bent the valves when the belt broke.

In my younger years I used to be a professional automotive tech, and still repair most of my vehicles. This was my wifes grocery getting car, and even though it was a good runner before this, just not sure if I want to repair if it has bent valves.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

According to this thread it's a non-interference engine. So there should be no damage.
