Map Sensor questionventurenot 05-29-2011, 08:55 PM I noticed on my car scanner that my calculated load stays at 2.3 even if I increase fan speed , turn on headlights and radio. Is this a sign that the MAP sensor may be bad? lesterl 06-03-2011, 06:00 PM What happens when you adjust throttle (driving?) venturenot 06-03-2011, 07:27 PM Calculated load seems to increase proportionately. lesterl 06-04-2011, 07:53 PM Are you getting bad gas mileage? If you dont see any issues, dont fix it, sometimes scanners missreport readings or tell you information that you decode incorrectly (been there done that.....) venturenot 06-04-2011, 08:05 PM Not bad mileage, around 16 or 17 in the city. I used to get 18 or 19 mpg city driving. It is just the calc load reading use to respond to any extra load. I guess just wait and see. Thanks for your input. lesterl 06-04-2011, 09:36 PM I will check mine next time I have it and the scanner out.... we can compare the load reading, altho that is pretty low...... didja air your tires back up from winter?
