Apexi AFC

OK I bought an old Apexi AFC off a frind cheap.

Now I don't know how old it is.. but it has no adjustments for RPM.. only one adjustment knob.

Does anyone know about these, and will it do any good, or should I just get a new one..

It depends if your A/F ratio needs adjusting.
and the only way to figure that out is with some dyno time.
If it does, and the old Apexi AFC is still in good working order then you could possible benefit from it.
But if you want to remove speed and RPM limiters as well then I would sell it and buy a newer one.

Yeah I think it is better to just get a new ECU. This one can't even adjust for different RPM..

As for the Limits. Speed is as simple as a wire cut, and rev limiter is good where it is..

Still it was cheap.. and the car needs more gas up top.

You really need to talk to someone with the expertise to properly tune one on a dyno, then they can tell you if its precise enough to do what you want.
I know the newer ones have an excellet reputation, but Iv heard bad things about the older AFC's, they can be a little unreliable, and dont offer very precise adjustments.
