98 camaro service engine light

i was wondering if anyone new how to reset the service engine soon light at home without hooking it up to a code reader ive tried disconnecting the battery and that didnt work so any advise would be helpful thanks

go to autozone. get the code read and then post back...they can reset the code...

reseting the code is not necessary .... what must be done is to repair the component failure, before more damage is done !
