dvd no sound. 2003 aztek.

purchased 2003 aztek, dvd player plays but no sound. read the book says if radio is off it would work. may need wireless headphones?

just found the channel on radio that dvd comes through on, unfortunatly radio light does not work so i dont know what channel it is but i did put it on a pre-set
