96 grand cherokee limited

can't get to pass inspection....there is no engine light on........the scanner says no communication......help.....:sly:

did they give you any paper stating you didnt pass?

I think thats a p168 something code. Your ECM or engine control module is not sending or sending little votage to ur fuel pump. U have to get it checked out cuz if it stop working then ur car will turn off on u.

Ps the inspertion people are a -b-! They fail vehicels for the little reason.

so if the voltage is not enough is it the batt. or the ecm itself?

EMC itself. Check the owner book to see if there a fuse for it and change it or take it to some one to change the EMC itself
