Williams Bros Lockheed 10 Electra

I've got a Williams Bros Kit of Amelia Earheart's Lockheed Electra. I've been wondering if it was a good idea to try and cover it with Bare Metal Aluminum foil or just use aluminum Metalizer.

Is the foil a bad idea, or is it practical? Just a wild idea that popped into my head.

I'd appreciate any suggestions/comments.
