1999 grand cherokee

Just recently my grand cherokee has started to shake when braking i was wondering what could b causing this

Sounds like warped brake rotors. The '99 had issues with this. You'll need to have them turned, which is to say machined, to remove a small amount of the metal and reestablish the smooth surface.
