ok... after a couple attempts at this thing.. i think i finally got it down... here the before picture of my cell shading.

i know my cell shading was the worst on the planet, but my experience with it is that the hood would prolly still be a shade of yellow, and not blue like ur pic.

your right... i did use a filter.. but it was the cutout filter... rather then the posterize filter.
