I had received a coolant temp low code. I replaced the thermostat and still getting check engine light. The gauge temp is at 200 and seems fine. My next step was going to change the temp sensor next to the thermostat housing.

Question. Is this the correct sensor? Any suggestions?

I would clear the code then recheck it, also do a scan and look at what the pcm sees as a temp input.

Thanks, but I have no idea how to check the PCM input. I have cleared the code several times and I keep getting the same code. Can auto zone or some where tell me the input signal temp?

I believe they only scan for codes, not live data, a full scan would show you what the actual temp the sensor is sending to the pcm, how did you clear the code BTW?

Replace your coolant temperature sensor and clear the code. See what happens after that
