Taking off rimsProShift 05-27-2003, 09:00 PM For my freinds birthday I was planning on taking off my freind ugly hubs and putting rims on that are pretty nice (i found them in the junk yard but they are pretty mint) but i would like to suprise him by put the rims on in the nite time so when he wakes up he will be like WOW... so might i do that Sluttypatton 05-28-2003, 01:53 AM Make sure he doesn't have a gun...might look like your stealing them. First you need to jack the car up and put stands under it, then use the proper sized socket and a cracking bar to take the nuts off, remove the wheel and replace with the new one...reverse steps to put it on...tighten quite tight but don't over do it. bluetwo 05-28-2003, 03:15 PM Originally posted by Sluttypatton Make sure he doesn't have a gun...might look like your stealing them.
