LS1 into a 1967 Firebird 400?

What modifications are needed to install a LS1 into a first generation, 1967 Firebird 400 w/ a Muncie 4 speed?

I was told that the **LS1 motor mounts will not allow the oil pan to clear the subframe ... is this correct?
