97 chevy blazer lt 4wd will not go into any forward gears, but will go in reverse. I dont know much more than that, im going to look at it tomorrow. i havnt purchased it yet, but with light front end damage, they want 700 bucks, 190xxx miles,

any thoughts on the trans problem? ill read codes tomorrow.

No forward is not good.
Check fluid level and condition.
97 has a lot of ign with problems.
But it still should have low gear.

If you can talk to the owner and pin him down on any transmission problems he has had with it.

190K is high mileage.
In my neck of the woods you can get 450 -550 US dollars selling them for scrap metal.
They always tell me do not pay more for anything than you can get out of it reselling it.
