Check your front wheel speed sensors.

As you can see, i have been away for awhile. I replaced both sensors on each side, but the ABS brake lights. Still comes on and goes off after awhile, while i am driving.

None of those codes have anything to do with speed sensors.......

This is a real old system......don't even know if parts are available........if you want to diagnose this yourself, you have to know how to read schematics, and get a GM manual for this, otherwise I recommend a GM dealer.....the other alternative, is remove the system and put "base" brakes in.....or live with it....I assume the base brakes work, you just have no ABS function....

In the state of Va, vehicles are inspected once a year, to make sure all safety equipment, are working. If they find the ABS is not working, they can reject that vehicle.

I was at pick-n-pull during the year 2019, looking for a part for my wiper motor. The Aurora that I got the part from, also had a ABS brake module on it. So I grabbed that too.
After installing the brake module, the ABS brake light works normal. It comes on at start up, then goes off. The traction control button also works now.
