1989 Audi 100 Draining Battery

I have a 1989 100 5 Cyl, 4 Door, Automatic.

Everything works well in the car, Had the Alternator tested and is good, put out 14.2 - 14.8 volts. Battery is 6 months old.

When the car sits for a day without being used the battery is low and has to be jumped. Then there are no problems if I run the car about every 12 hours.

When I had the alternator and battery checked, I turned off the car and they said there is a lot of noise. Something is draining the battery.

I can pull the fuses to locate the problem.

Is there a meter or method of testing that when I pull the fuse on the circuit that is draining the battery, that I know I found the problem circuit.

i.e. Pull the ground cable, and put a meter between the cable and the battery and see what the draw is?

I am not sure what to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I probably had a similar with my 2006 A6, take it to the bank because there is probably something wrong with the electrical circuits that control the battery and everything else. The dealer look at it.
