Looks nice, but why are the tires so big in front?

I like it! Great little details, like the faces on the lights and the engine work. I also really like the carbon hood, quarters, and door. Awesome work.

It's got big front tires because it's a drag car, and FWD.

There you go, surprising me again. I don't know what it is about your builds. I love the finished product.

You used the AMT WIDE goodyears out of their 1980's models...that's fine, since it's what you have on hand, but a set of slicks would take it to the next level.

I'm all for H swapped civics ^_^ so kudos with that. One complaint I DO have is that tire setup... those rears look friggin DINKY and the fronts look a tad TOO big, even for a drag civic. check out more pics of actual drag civics and you'll be spot on with this build. Also, a shaved valve cover would have looked a bit better IMO than penciling it in. If anyone knows what they're lookin at they could tell it's an H series by it's dizzy/vtec arrangement. Nice job on the H2B setup too ^_^

Other than me just being picky, GREAT JOB!! Nice job getting that CF perfect too.

^thanks for the c&c , ive been around alot of street racing , i know what size slicks would be correct for a civic , but when we talk about model car its a different ball game , i searched hard for the perfect set of wheels but most were way to big to fit the arch of the wheel wells , i also dont know how to customize rubber tires ......the best i can do but thanks , no problem over here heheheh................what exactly do you mean by shaving the valve cover instead of penciling it? not sure what you mean there....

I'm not trying to tear your model up at ALL but I just noticed a few things that coulda helped with this build. I understand the tire sizing problem. that's no biggie.

but what I meant about the valve cover is from these 2 pics. your DOHC looks pretty good but it looks like you just penciled in the VTEC. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.sunrisejdmmotors.com/images/engines/XS04Sr1uK7zQ.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.sunrisejdmmotors.com/engines.php&usg=__MLSTZJVmEefaSv6BCq6PujKQZQ8=&h=480&w=640&sz=125&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=HEmDNe5KHDtsDM:&tbnh=146&tbnw=207&ei=sHyOTcj6A6nh0gGr-4ysCw&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dh22a%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26bi w%3D1263%26bih%3D603%26tbs%3Disch:1&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=361&vpy=302&dur=2770&hovh=194&hovw=259&tx=168&ty=143&oei=sHyOTcj6A6nh0gGr-4ysCw&page=1&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:11,s:0 see how small the VTEC emblem is compared to yours? Just for future reference

Nice work, I like the naked interior finish with the fuel pump cover detail.
Engine bay show a lot of work as well, and the scratch build H22 looks good too.

Nice work!
