Jabbeke is a few Km before Bruges on the highway between Brussels and Ostende.
For me, this is belgian's #1 exhibition for the automotive modelers. I've never seen the same quality in other places.

Nope, it is Flanders #1 exhibition. For you, who`s from the republic of Wallonia, it`s in another country. And we`ll close the borders that weekend.

I really wish I could go, as I love F1 and MotoGP. Here in the states, there is hardly any interest or modelers that know of, much less build these kits. I imagine there will be a strong turnout of these kits...

Good luck to all who are going! I've got a contest in Indianapolis Saturday as well! I'll have my Matra and YZR500 out for the first time...we'll see how it goes!

Went to On The Road today for the first time. This was great. A lot of cars(race and road), F1, Motogp and trucks. The one more beautiful than the other. Also i Bought a lot of goodies including the new Belkits Pug 207. Wow, this is an amazing kit. IT show great detail and the extra's like PE set and fabric for the seatbelts are also a plus. No Similr ford focus dough. Going next time for sure, because it's the only one in Belgium.

Yeah the Belkits Peugeot is a great kit, I wasn't planning to (my interest is US cars) but I did buy a copy at the IPMS show in Antwerp, sadly couldn't make it to Jabbeke due to my 3 year son being ill. maybe next time....

So, back from the show. Only spent an hour visting because my wife and daughter were hungry and wanted to leave to restaurant.
I arrived around 11 am and left while they were distributing the awards.
Didn't spend much as I bought only 1 kit and saw nobody or had not the opportunity to meet any of you.

Still the best show I know and, this year, quality was at it's top. I took a few pictures (can all be seen on my blog) but ran out of batteries too quick.

I think there were more trucks and less bikes this year. Does someone else had this feeling?

the abandoned rusty cars are simply awesome.
