Hello all.. i have a 96 chevy lumina with the 3100 engine. have checked all fuses, tested coil packs and ICM. with key turned foreward the MIL comes on so i dont think its a ECM issue. i replaced the crankshaft sensor (x7) and have checked the spark and fuel. Tried starting it in park and neutral. the engine cranks but does not start. it tries to start, has even made me think it was actually going to on a couple occasions. i am completely lost and have been working on this car since monday. any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me nuts :banghead:

Got proper fuel pressure at the rail, will is start with starting fluid sprayed into the intake, all basics here.

hey guys. never mind i found out the problem. the valves on number 1 &2 are working fine but the valves on the other 4 do not move at all. i am not tearing the engine down, the car isnt worth that much to me. lol. will probably just part it out and be done with it.
