I have a 2000 Honda Passport. Today the check engine light started flashing while I'm accelerating. Anyone know what thats all about?

NO - But your ECU detected a fault!

Go to any local Auto parts store, and see if they can pull the DTC.

If the light is flashing you have a misfire. The easiest place to start is getting the code to see which cylinder is misfiring.
