Power drain when braking

I have a 2000 model Camry that the headlights either dim or shut off for a split second when braking or when the AC compressor kicks in. Recently the problem is getting worse by the radio and dash lights shutting completely down and the ABS light coming on for a second or so when first applying the brakes. I had the alternator and battery checked and they check out fine. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

I still would pay more attention to the battery, or rather battery contacts.

With the lights on try to wiggle wire harness. You may have a poor contact somewhere.

Good luck,
Sam

Have your battery charged + load tested.
If your Alternator is working too hard, you might burn it up.
