2006 dodge 5.9 cumminsstripe 12-20-2010, 06:17 PM This truck is hard to start but runs fine after it gets going (some pumping of the fuel pedal needed to start) It is on block heater each night. I'm not very familiar with 3rd Gens. snakecan2 12-28-2010, 02:43 PM RPS rail pressure sensor.. it checks fuel pressure before the injector pump start going when you fire up the vehicle.. on the fuel rail, there is a sensor that is on top of fuel rail or at end.. it has a quick connect with 3 pins/wires red/black/green did you get any codes when you turn ignition on/off/on/off/on dont turn motor.. i didnt know about this trick til i started having problems and someone posted.
