My wifes car is in ok condition and the dealer is only offering $3000 for it. Kelly Blue Book says it's $6500. I hate the idea of trying to sell this on my own, does anyone have any suggestions for a fast sale, but for a real price? $3000 is a joke. Thanks!

Use both KBB & NADA for a reference.
What's the year, make, model, mileage, and condition?
The dealers go by the black book, they like to make 2X's.

Its 2003 Caddy CTS with 115K on it. I just submitted to one of those "cash for cars" sites. I'll see what they offer.

There's alot of used cars out there and the average Trade-In for this car is $5950 .
You should beable toget at least $6K for it on Craigslist.org

Just used a ("cash for cars service") and got 4 offers. Some guy wanted to give me $2500....another $5000, another $5200 and the final guy offered $5600 and they're coming to pick it up. That was pretty easy. I almost want to submit it to more sites to see if I can get a little more, but I guess getting $2600 more than the dealer offered is better than the hassle. Thanks for the advice!
