This is follows my earlier post-good samaritan loses. again. I intend to rebuild my original front differential. Hopefully you guys out there will join in and give me some pointers all the way through this project. i guess the first thing i need is a manual on this matter. I have the regular old manual that dosent say anything about differentials (hayes). any suggestions?

If they were giving away Haynes manuals for free, I wouldn't walk across the street to get one.

Two sources of info that might actually help:

1. The original GM factory service manual set, which would include the "Unit Repair" book.
