I have a 97 grand prix. Trying to replace the hvac controller. I can get the first and third plug out not the second. It looks like it is connected to the circuit board. Any information would be appreciated.
If you have one and are selling it I'm interested
It's the manual, not dual zone.
thanks

All three harnesses unplug. The blower motor speed switch is an 8 cavity (with only 7 wires) and the locking tab is toward the outside of the control (to your left if your looking at the front of the control head reaching around). The center plug is a 12 micro-pin connnector (the lock tab is on the bottom) and the mode switch has a 3-wire electric plug with the connector toward the center of the control (again to the left as viewed from the front), as well as the 6-valve vacuum harness attached to it which has 2 locking tabs, one at 10:00 and one at 4:00 as viewed from the front.
