blown shocks???? Help!!!

i sat in my car and noticed a sound that seemed to be rubbing and squeeking, i looked under while someone was bouncing the car then i noticed that my drivers side shock was slightly moving but all bolts were all tight i guess it should move a little because of bushings and stuff, but i noticed there was grease and like some fluid type liquid running down the shock. anybody have a clue if this could be it or if you had the same problem. (stock shocks)

your fluid for the shocks is leaking, i think its time to get new shocks, it can be replaced but you might as well get aftermarket. stock shocks are liquid filled, i prefer gas charged KYBs. :D

Are there any others that you would recommend? I need new shocks too but I want something that would lean more toward ride comfort(i.e. touring shocks)

yah, sounds like you need some new shocks.

p11: ..when i took apart my p11 shocks to do the TEIN install, it said gas filled on the casing of the stock shocks. mine's a 2001.
