92 Camry Engine block coolant drain?Blt2Lst 11-02-2010, 01:02 PM I am working on a 92 camry 2.2 4 cyl and am trying to locate the coolant drain plug located on the block somewhere. The manual shows it on the back of the engine which is the left side of a transverse mounted engine I assume. I tried to find it but cannot see it, I think it might be hidden under the air intake somewhere. Am I looking in the right place? Is the drain accessible from the top side or underside of the car? Thanks. inafogg 11-02-2010, 01:22 PM i would think looking from underneth will be easier to see.look in the center of block & about 1/2 way down(you would think they would put it @ the bottom)your looking for a plug/bolt about 15mm in size good luck mike Blt2Lst 11-02-2010, 05:19 PM Are we talking the part of the block facing the front of the car or facing the left side of the car? inafogg 11-02-2010, 06:22 PM back side firewall Blt2Lst 11-02-2010, 06:32 PM back side firewall Thanks jdmccright 11-03-2010, 11:45 AM You have to crawl under the car to see it, but it is pretty much in the middle of the block face. You'll see a square-head plug. Nothing else around it. Blt2Lst 11-04-2010, 04:12 PM You have to crawl under the car to see it, but it is pretty much in the middle of the block face.
