Making of Fairlady 240Zkunta 05-21-2003, 10:02 AM Hi! This is Fujimi 1/24 kit. it had vague panel lines, so I redrew all of them clearly. cut off front side markers. I hate molded markers. I'll make clear parts for them. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/139013240Z-01.jpg Applied mixed maroon and polishing now. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/673359240Z-02.jpg I'm going to use Studio27's Recaro seats and Y-inter's Vitaloni mirrors. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/952338seats_mirrors.jpg Painted seats yellow and carbon look. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/549361seats2.jpg Veyron 05-21-2003, 10:04 AM Nice work so far, nice to see one of these on AF. :) freakray 05-21-2003, 10:05 AM Looking great Kunta  What's the interior detail like? I am assuming this is the same kit Fujimi boxed with 'rally look' decals for the Safari rally car? kunta 05-21-2003, 10:21 AM Originally posted by freakray What's the interior detail like? I am assuming this is the same kit Fujimi boxed with 'rally look' decals for the Safari rally car? interior looks cheap... can't expect like Tamiya's.:o yes, Fujimi has S30 Safari version. this kit has engine, but detail is sorrowful. so I didn't cut hood. bigfrit 05-21-2003, 10:29 AM Hey kunta, nice work ! Olivier Olivier, I'm using Hasegawa's scriber. use bottom one more often than not. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/993609scriber.jpg Cychalen 05-21-2003, 11:08 AM I really like your 240Z. One question. Why did you paint the seats in silver first? Does it make the yellow look more lively?
