I have a 98 Buick LeSabre (77K) and when I go to brake it feels like the tires continue to slide even after the normal point where they would be at a complet stop. The problem corrects itself after about a half hour to forty five minutes of driving.
My brakes do NOT feel mushy. I do not need new brake pads. There is no air trapped. I don't know what else to check and I am wondering why the problem is intermitten.

Sir,
Do you mean that the tires are skidding? Front or back? Possibly some grease has leaked into the drums in back?
Regards,
JC
