90 Oldsmobile 88 Grinding Noise From Front

I have a 1990 Oldsmobile 88, 3.8L, 150,000 mi. It makes a grinding noise at the right front wheel. Under normal braking condition, no noise. If I hit the brakes hard to stop at a light then I hear this grinding noise. Pads and rotors are in good condition. No pulsation in brake pedal. Tie rods, ball joints and hub bearings all feel tight. I am considering this problem being the hub bearing although the noise does not occur all the time or the drive axle although there are no noises going around turns unless the brakes are applied. I also had the front end in the air driving at 40 mph and applied the brakes hard and had no grinding noise. It seem to only do this under a load.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance

20 years and 150k, more than likely the bearing.

It is fixed. As I was taking the brake assembly apart I noticed that it was missing the top caliper guide pin. I replaced the pin and all of the grinding noise is gone. Cheap and easy fix!!!
