How did you test your battery? It should read around 12.6 votls. Do you have fuel? Do you get spark? Good luck, Sam craig57 10-05-2010, 12:32 PM checked with a battery load tester all is well12.6 volts there are lights but starter does not engage or even attempt to turn over like some thing on security systeme is triped to shut starting down somick 10-06-2010, 11:49 AM checked with a battery load tester all is well12.6 volts there are lights but starter does not engage or even attempt to turn over like some thing on security systeme is triped to shut starting down Do you get spark? If there is no spark it could be your alarm. Is it aftermarket or OEM? Sam BullShifter 10-06-2010, 05:37 PM You said the starter was good at first, then you say it wont do any thing. If that's the case have some one hit while you are attempting to start it. A wooden hammer handle works good, just try not to use some thing metal. If the starter is working and cranking but not starting it could be either your ignition switch or main relay. The main relay controls the fuel system. When you turn the key on you should hear it click under the dash(above the hood release). Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2013
