Anyone know the best spark plugs to use in a stock '01 Grand Prix GT? I have seen people talking about copper cores and platinum, but nothing about the iridium plugs. Thanks.

I use ngk iridium. I've also used the ngk v-powers.

whatever you put in there, please, please do not use Bosch

I second that too, I made that mistake of using Bosch, and my GP SE ran like crap. Until I found this place.

You should use DOUBLE platinums not the single platinums. The GM waste spark ignition system fires both plugs on a coil at the same time, so the plugs fire on both compression and exhaust strokes, which accelerates wear on a single platinum plug. ??? I believe the spark fires in one direction, center electrode to outer electrode then fires in the opposite direction outer electrode to center electrode. Hence the need for double platinium tips. Same goes for Iridium plugs.
