My old GP is running sucky again...:-)
It was running perfectly and I shut it off for about 15-20 minutes and then when I started it it didn't want to idle very good and the check light came on. I got it going and headed out. On the hwy, it will sometimes "buck" or cut out. Never quits and otherwise runs fine on the hwy. At stop lights it usually idles fine but sometimes will act up. RPM's fluctuate up and down a few times then settle down. Sometimes it seem to miss at an idle but then straighten out. I'm lost. I checked the light and it is O2 sensor error I think it was P0172 but I can't remember now. Any ideas, I took it up to the local mechanic and he is not sure either. He said he "thinks" it is the MAF sensor but is not sure and the sensor is $175 at Orileys. What do you all think?

Ok, I'm at work right now but what will that do for me? How should it act with it unplugged?

I think if it doesn't do those symptoms with the MAF unplugged, it is a bad MAF.

It'll run slugish until it warms up, once at running temp if it runs better...It's a bad maf. Let us know how it goes
