Blowncivic1320 05-19-2003, 07:59 PM Thats hot...but the pix kinda suck bah humbug 05-19-2003, 08:02 PM Who makes that car? Is it one of those European cars that I don't know about. You know like Toyota makes supra. I don't mean Testors. mstngcobrasvt98 05-19-2003, 08:10 PM the pics are crappy because their indoor pics with bad lighting...its raining here so the outdoors are not gonna work. The Pantera is made by Detomaso...its a ford division powered by ghia. Just search for it online and youll prob know more about it than me. DarkTemptation3 05-19-2003, 08:22 PM Nice model, can wait to see what it looks like Mustang...:evillaugh spymaker 05-19-2003, 09:02 PM Great rare kit, imai kit I believe. I have one and still in progress of restoring it, I really dont like the wing its too big. Mine's black too but will converted to red and with black front trunk. I'll post it after I finish it :P andrian Layla's Keeper 05-19-2003, 09:09 PM Stellar, it's not something you see everyday in scale. (Oddly, though, I see tons of them in Ohio) RaceMySS_454 05-19-2003, 10:35 PM looking great, good to see something different on here. GL on the rest of it. chaos 05-20-2003, 04:55 AM Thats a mean looking car! Looking forward to see the progress. bigfrit 05-20-2003, 05:03 AM Wow, one gorgeous model coming up there, I am eager to see some further progress pics! Olivier OPM 05-20-2003, 05:27 AM 008 05-20-2003, 10:49 AM Cool, I love Panteras. Here's one I took pictures of at Sears Point. http://public.fotki.com/lauron/rons/car_showsevents/sears_point_vintage/071002033.html mstngcobrasvt98 05-20-2003, 11:30 PM Anyone got some pics for the interior? i need to figure out a paint scheme for the inside. FYI-im using Tamiyas TS-53 Deep metallic blue as the exterior. If you remember p-mans primera, thats what im gonna use. i know white with blue is a comon interior for a blue, but thats all i can think of. The car body is primed right now so i cant add pics....yet. Veyron 05-21-2003, 11:24 AM BaNe 05-21-2003, 11:56 AM I like th4e huge flares. Alejandro De Tomaso passed away yesterday :( mstngcobrasvt98 05-22-2003, 02:56 PM well i hope this car makes him proud...Heres just an update...its the under coat before the blue. http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/536054may22798.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/920817may22800.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/106397may22801.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/310555may22802.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/866267may22803.jpg Yes i know, its all chrome....its to help the blue. Ill spray the blue tommorrow as i have to work. Comments so far welcome. Bloodhound 05-23-2003, 04:11 AM very aggressive looking car you have there, but it's my understanding that painting the undercoat gold will give a much richer candy effect? I actually did it with gold once and I was pretty pleased with the shine and depth it got with only one application of clearcoat and no rubbing back. can't wait to see more... nervestrikes 05-23-2003, 10:33 AM This is going to be cool yet ! Mean_B16 05-23-2003, 06:15 PM Now that's a classic I have not seen in a while. I agree the pics are not that great though. Blowncivic1320 05-23-2003, 06:48 PM Looks good in chrome...lol My dad (professional Painter) does that all of the time...normally with a silver or pearl white, makes the color A LOT deeper and crisp mstngcobrasvt98 06-01-2003, 11:21 PM Well, I finished it and have pics, but they're not that great of ones. Heres where they are: Pantera Completed Pics (http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290027429) Just click on the next button to see them. Thanks. I think Alejandro De Tomaso would have loved it. supratuner 06-01-2003, 11:35 PM nice, at first i thought you met the band!!!! lol Nice, i like it DarkTemptation3 06-01-2003, 11:55 PM Very Nice Mustang, I think he would be proud... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
