well it's a little ricey but at least it's not like 20 inches high.

I'd suggest not painting it because most likely the paint will chip off over time and it won't look good. What color are you planning on painting it by the way?

Aluminum is very hard to make paint stick to, I know because I paint Aircraft for a living. I don't know if they sell it to just anybody but you have to use a chemical call Alodine and etch the aluminum it with that. Then prime and paint it just like normal but without the Alodine the paint won't last long.:D
My personal advice is just get rid of it though but its you car

Thread has nothing to do with Type-R anything, so watch yourself with your comments/replys.

Remarking about his sig.

He bashes someone about rice while he has a Type R Autoshifter. This is unacceptable.

You want to talk about unacceptable, what did TheNotoriousMogg do to you to warrent your comment about him? Simply put, direct attacks to people like you made in this thread (especially when it has NOTHING to do with the topic at hand) is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable by Automotiveforums.com, so refrain from that kind of behavior, got it?

Not really since the topic was about a WING and not a SHIFTER. Two complete opposite items in case you couldn't tell. You want to rag on people's rides/mods then create your own thread on it, otherwise watch what you say, I'm not going to say that again.

I'll break it down for you before the topic closes up...

You can try spraying the wing with some adhiesive promotor. Use 2-3 coats of that letting each coat dry before the next. Then spray the wing with whatever color of paint you so desire. I'd use like 6-8 coats just to be sure. Then about 3 light coats of clear coat, and then one final thick almost dripping coat of clear coat for added protection and a glossy look.

Hope that helps you out. Feel free to PM me if you have any further ?'s about the process.

I have a suggestion...

Paint your entire car this way...

Take a blow torch with the highest heat possible and go over the whole thing...dont worry about flames they are normal...

Enjoy!
